Little Feat – 1974.04.19 – Ultrasonic Studios, Hempstead NY

Recorded for radio broadcast on Long Island’s WLIR-FM, this is a rare studio-quality capture of Little Feat in action. The tape was salvaged from another station’s archive in 1978, when that station was discarding older stored material. Included are the classics: Rock n’ Roll Doctor, Two Trains, The Fan, On Your Way Down, Spanish Moon, Skin It Back, Fat Man In The Bath Tub, Oh Atlanta and Willin. This one is a definite treat and also not a bad place to start to immerse yourself in the band, should you be unacquainted with them at this point.
